The Kennedy’s Disease Association (KDA), founded in 2000, is a nonprofit organization dedicated to supporting individuals and families affected by Kennedy’s Disease (KD). The organization is led by a volunteer Board of Directors composed of individuals personally impacted by the disease. The KDA is committed to providing reliable information and education for those seeking to better understand Kennedy’s Disease, creating a strong and accessible support network, addressing physical and mental healthcare needs, increasing public awareness of the disease and its impact, raising funds for research and allocating those funds effectively and efficiently, and expanding awareness within the general and medical communities.
