The Locks of Love is a voluntary, non-profit organization whose main goal is to return a sense of self-confidence and normalcy to children suffering from hair loss by providing high quality hair prostheses to financially disadvantaged children. Locks of Love helps children with such rare diseases as alopecia areata, ectodermal dysplasia, loose anagen syndrome, and trichotillomania, among others. Founded in 1997, Locks of Love provides educational services and networking to patients, families, healthcare professionals, and the general community.
