Lymphoma Action is a UK charity established in 1986 to provide information and support to anyone whose life has been affected by cancer of the lymphatic system (lymphoma). Lymphoma is the fifth most common cancer in the UK and is a complex disease. There are two main types – non-Hodgkin lymphoma and Hodgkin lymphoma - with over 60 different sub-types. There are also many different forms (aggressive and chronic) which can make diagnosis and treatment difficult. Symptoms of lymphoma include a lump in the neck, armpit or groin; feeling worn out for no reason, unexplained weight loss, excessive sweating at night, constant itching for no reason.
