Marinesco-Sjogren Syndrome Support Group

The Marinesco-Sjogren Syndrome Support Group, established in 2000, provides support to families affected by Marinesco-Sjogren syndrome (MSS) and encourages communication between physicians and researchers. Marinesco-Sjogren syndrome is a hereditary disorder characterized by a loss of muscle coordination, loss of clearness in the eyes’ lenses, very small stature, progressive muscle weakness, hypergonadotropic hypogonadism, and mental retardation.
