Medicare Rights Center

The Medicare Rights Center (MRC) is a national, non-profit, independent source of Medicare information and assistance in the United States. Founded in 1989, MRC helps older adults and people with disabilities get good, affordable healthcare. It provides direct services to individuals with questions about Medicare coverage or problems accessing services; analyzes public policy initiatives; and educates both consumers and professionals about Medicare benefits, rights, and options. MRC brings the consumer voice to the national debate on the future of Medicare and works with policy makers and the media to ensure informed public understanding of the healthcare issues facing older and disabled Americans.
