Naitbabies support research into the causes, treatment and prevention of the severe bleeding disorder Fetal and neonatal alloimmune thrombocytopenia. FNAIT may cause unborn/newborn babies to bleed into their brain and/or other major organs due to the maternal immune response against fetal platelet antigens. Babies are at risk of death or lifelong disabilities. We provide support, advocacy, practical assistance, promote public awareness and advocate for prenatal screening.
