The Spina Bifida Association of America (SBA) is the sole national organization dedicated to building a better and brighter future for everyone impacted by Spina Bifida. Since 1973, we’ve helped people living with Spina Bifida thrive at every stage of life, alongside their families, healthcare providers, research professionals, and tireless advocates.

We are driven by a single goal: to create a world where everyone impacted by Spina Bifida is accepted and thrives.    

We work to improve healthcare, support research, and help people with Spina Bifida get the services they need throughout their lives. Our work is made possible through the generosity of individual donors, corporate sponsors, foundations, government partners, and volunteers.
