Lambert-Eaton Myasthenic Syndrome (LEMS) Premium & Copay Assistance

NORD’s Lambert-Eaton Myasthenic Syndrome (LEMS) Patient Assistance Program offers financial support to pay for out-of-pocket healthcare costs that are directly related to the care and treatment of this diagnosis.

Any US citizen or resident of six months or more with a diagnosis of LEMS who meets the financial eligibility criteria (or their caregiver) may apply.

Awards are issued for a calendar year. Patients are encouraged to reapply annually if continued assistance is needed.

Examples of expenses NORD can assist with include:

• Medical office visit or consult
• Health insurance premiums, deductibles, and copayments
• Out-of-pocket cost for medications prescribed by your physician
• Out-of-pocket costs for lab services or radiological services
• Physician prescribed supportive therapies such as physical, occupational, speech therapies or nutrition services
• Home nursing costs
