We are at a pivotal time in rare disease, one that requires new approaches and fresh perspectives in order to achieve real progress. Given the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic on clinical trials, drug development, and pharmaceutical innovation, connecting stakeholders and advancing meaningful dialogue is now more critical than ever to improving the lives of over 25 million Americans living with rare diseases.
With this in mind, the 2020 NORD Rare Diseases & Orphan Products Breakthrough Summit will be presented as a virtual event on October 8 and 9.
Be sure to mark your calendar and join NORD for two days of programming unlike any other, featuring:
- Timely topics including the COVID-19 pandemic’s impact on the rare disease community, drug pricing, advancements in technology, tools for accelerating cures and more
- A blue-ribbon panel of public health experts, patient advocates, and industry leaders on how to build a stronger healthcare system from what we’ve learned this year
- One-on-one networking opportunities with rare disease innovators
- The 2020 Rare Impact Awards, to premiere exclusively online in their entirety for the first time ever, on October 9!
We will be back in touch soon regarding registration and the agenda for this year’s #NORDSummit. For ongoing information, be sure to visit NORDsummit.org.
