PrintPhrynoderma is a form of follicular hyperkeratosis seen in young children and adolescents due to nutritional deficiencies. It is clinically characterized by discrete, follicular, skin-colored papules with keratotic plugs distributed over elbows, knees, extensor extremities, and buttocks.
